隨著(zhù)各種新材料的大量開(kāi)發(fā)和應用，潛在的火災危險因素也越來(lái)越多，火災的危害性也隨著(zhù)越來(lái)越大。無(wú)情的大火曾奪去無(wú)數人的生命，也吞噬了無(wú)數的社會(huì )財富，增強材料的阻燃防火性能，日益受到各個(gè)領(lǐng)域的重視。

軌道交通領(lǐng)域對材料的阻燃要求更加嚴格，各國的要求也有所不同。當前最具代表性的標準有歐盟EN 45545-2，德標DIN5510，英標BS6853，法標NF F16-101，鐵標TB/T3237，美標NFPA130，意大利UNI CEI 11170-3，俄羅斯GOST 等等。

GOST 俄羅斯GOST系列防火測試標準- 標準概述

GOST 本標準適用于基礎材料，聚合混合物，包括聚合物和復合材料等。但該標準不適用于易爆和放射性的物質(zhì)。

GOST 標準規定了材料的火災和爆炸危險性的指標范圍和測試方法 。
